Romertopf Braised Chinese Pork Belly - 红烧肉 - Hong Shao Rou - Chinese Red-Braised Pork



my dinner for a very cold wintery night in Melbourne, 24 July 2017.

Thank You so much to The Woks of Life for sharing your amazing recipe,  Braised Pork Belly.

I made some adjustments, added garlic, ginger, cinnamon stick and star anise.  I also replaced the rock sugar with palm sugar.

AND cooked in the oven in my wonderful Romertopf clay cooker for about 50 mins.
