For the past week, I have been making some really Cool and Fun Hyperbolic Crochet using my all time favorite yarn, Noro - Noro Sekku (lace yarn) Here are some pics.
Measurement: approx 2.5 cm (1"), using 1.8 mm steel hook
Magic ring
Rnd 1 - ch 4 (counts as tr), 21 tr , sl st to join rnd (total: 22 tr)
Rnd 2 - ch 1, 4 hdc in each tr, sl st to join rnd (total: 88 hdc)
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Measurement: approx 3.5 cm (1.5"), using 2 mm steel hook
Magic ring
Rnd 1 - ch 1, 8 sc, sl st to join rnd (total: 8 sc)
Rnd 2 - ch 1, 2 sc in each sc, sl st to join rnd (total: 16 sc)
Rnd 3 - ch 1, 2 sc in each sc, sl st to join rnd (total: 32 sc)
Rnd 4 - ch 1, 2 sc in each sc, sl st to join rnd (total: 64 sc)
Rnd 5 - ch 1, 2 sc in each sc, sl st to join rnd (total: 128 sc)
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Measurement: approx 3 cm (1.2"), using 1.8 mm steel hook
Hyperbolic is made up of Rnd 1 to Rnd 4 only.
Crochet as the instructions above until Rnd 4.
Rnd 4 - changed color.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
